Are you the next Face of Tasmanian Dance Festival? 

We are looking for a deserving ambassador for the branding of our upcoming festival. The Tasmanian Dance Festival is passionate about all things dance and performance through all forms of media. We would love for you to be a part of our mission and contribute your entry to have the chance to be the Face of TDF!!!



 - Dance orientated (be as creative as you can be)
- Tasmanian locations/scenery
-Professional and non-professional photos accepted
- Up to 3 photos can be submitted

There are two prize categories:

1. A panel of industry professionals will choose the most fitting suitor to be the Face of the Tasmanian Dance Festival 2017. The winner will also receive a free photo shoot with Peter Aitchison (including stylist) and will also be given the unique opportunity to be featured in the branding for TDF 2017
(Valued at $3500)

2. The contestant with the most Likes on Facebook will win a free photo shoot by world renowned commercial photographer Peter Aitchison.
(Valued at $3000)

The winners will be announced at "The Platform" 2016 on the 6th November. Location and time info coming soon..

If you are submitting a photo taken by a professional photographer, you need to ask their permission first, then credit them in your post.

Children under 16 MUST be submitted by their parent with the child's name clearly in the post.

About the Photographer, Peter Aitchison...

Photographer Peter Aitchison has a folio of diverse and consistently inspiring images.
Peter's first photograph was published at the age of 14 yrs; and he has been working in the Commercial, advertising and editorial area's of photography for over 30 years.

With an impressive folio of "who's who in portraits, actor Sam Neil, Musician/Politician Peter Garret, Susie Porter, Dick Smith, Kerry Ann Kennelly, and even back to Bob Marley (1978), plus more.

Peter's ability with a camera/lighting has him widely regarded as one of the best in his field.

In the commercial/editorial field Peter has worked for Australian Geographic, Men's Health, Nekon, Westpac, Quiksilver, O'neil, Soccoroo's/Poweraide (442 mag), Belle, Canon, MLA, Siemens, Sunday Magazine, Time Magazine (inc), just a few in a long list of clients.

Peter was closely involved with Australian Geographic from when the journal began with then owner/founder Dick Smith, 27 years ago.

He has won many awards over the years including the prestigious "Pacific Asian Travel Award (PATA)" the first time this Gold Award had been won by an Australian.
